Many of you older guys (and girls!) will remember the tv show ROWAN AND MARTIN'S LAUGH IN. One of it's features was cast members getting drenched with water! This is a still from the best of them. It involved all the female cast members as well as guest Connie Stevens.
A programme which I remember watching in the UK late 60's/early 70's whose "sock it to me" segment mainly featured Brit actress the late Judy Carne. I always enjoyed her reaction to the soaking she endured usually involving a play on words if I remember correctly. Would be great if anyone has old clips available.

FYI I recorded all 6 seasons and 140 episodes 3 years ago off the Decades TV channel when they restored them all at digital quality, so I extracted all the wetlook scenes (it was not only Judy Carne, but many others) plus the pie scene with Goldie Hawn and the overhead gunging scene with Patti Deutch, so I made a 62 minute compilation file of every single wet or messy scene from the entire series. The 62 minute file is in my Megastore Archives and I will send free download links to my Patreon supporters if they want the file..
TRIVIA: Despite what you think, Judy herself was definitely NOT a wetlook fan and she hated having to do those water soaking scenes. She left the series after 3 seasons because she grew weary of the sock it to me scenes ... but even after she left the show she was stereotyped as the Sock It To Me girl and even years later she was reluctant to do personal appearances because somebody always wanted to throw a bucket of water over her, and she would get quite upset when that happened, as per the pic attached. You could say Judy was the opposite to Sally James, who loved doing slapstick stuff, but Judy felt she was being abused by the Laugh In team (but that was nothing compared to the physical abuse she suffered when she was married to Burt Reynolds).
